Several research/technical papers were presented by the faculty and students of College of Engineering and Computer Studies at the 2016 National Research Conference of Faculty Members and Undergraduate Students (REDTI 2016), with the theme: Sharing Vision and Shaping the Future by Becoming Agents of Change held last 28th – 30th of September 2016 at the Venus Parkview Hotel, City of Pines, Baguio.

The research papers presented by the 4th year and 5th year ECE, IE, and CS students and faculty members were products of a rich collaboration among students and faculty. Engr. Favis Joseph C. Balinado and Ms. Jonalyn Ebron, Chair of EE/ECE and CS programs respectively, joined their students in the presentation. Dr. Candido Perez and Ms. Leonore Alusen from the CBA also joined the group.

This event nourished their presentation skills as they spoke before a big crowd (including faculty and students) coming from different universities in the Philippines. They also got a chance to listen to the presentations of the rest of the attendees and enrich their technical knowledge about their field of specialization.

A total of 49 research abstracts were published in the book of abstracts of REDTI. The conference secretariat eyes LPU-Laguna to be the next host of this prestigious event the following year.
