The Cultural Affairs Office (CAO) headed by Ms. Anna Korina G. Kagaoan in partnership with the Institutional Social Responsibility Office conducted a 5-day community summer workshop to the residents of Brgy. Makiling, Calamba City last May 16-20, 2016 in LPU Laguna.

CAO is annually conducting summer workshop for the students of the school but this time they extended it to our partner community, Brgy. Makiling. This years summer workshop is for all the residents of the said community ageing from 8-16 year old. It is hosted by the three cultural groups under CAO namely the Lyceum Concert Singers (LCS), the Lyceum Pirates Dance Troupe (LPDT) and the Lyceum Theater Ensemble (LTE) who continuously showcasing their talents inside and outside the school. The workshop includes acting on the first day, dancing on the second day, singing on the third day, rehearsal on the fourth day and recital on the last day. The recital was attended by the parents of the kids who joined the said workshop and some of the professors and staff of the school.

This workshop aims to help and develop the talents and self confidence of the residents of Brgy. Makiling and to enhance camaraderie with their ka-barangay and the cultural artists of the school.
