Out of 950 applications to the ASEAN Japan Youth Forum 2015, Mr. Aldren Hula Hila, our Student Development Officer has been admitted to the forum for he is one of the best. The forum is themed “The Role of Youth on Strengthening ASEAN-Japan Partnership toward ASEAN Community”, scheduled on March 4 to 7, 2015, in Bengkulu, Indonesia.
The ASEAN-Japan Youth Forum is for only a total of 100 talented students from Japan and ASEAN member countries to where all of them will be sharing their ideals and understanding on how to build and maintain our partnership. ASEAN-Japan was first established back 1973, then was later formalized in March 1977 and after that significant progress has been made in the areas of political security, economic-finance and socio-culture. The objective of this forum is to give opportunities on each participant to share their knowledge, ideas, and understanding to other ASEAN-Japan youths as to improve familiarity on each side; to strengthen friendship and cooperation to face the coming Single ASEAN Community; and to raise the awareness among them on prospering together for the betterment of our future.
