In 2018, the Culinary Institute and its students bagged the victory of success with 3 championship awards from Food and Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge Singapore, Goldilocks and Philippine Culinary Cup.

Specifically, the Lyceum of the Philippines University Culinary Institute, espousing the ideals of its founder Jose P. Laurel, is committed to achieve the following objectives:

TESDA – TESDA is the leading partner in the development of the Filipino workforce with world-class competence and positive work values. Provides direction, policies, programs and standards towards quality technical education and skills development.

ServSafe- Servsafe is an internationally accepted food safety training and certification program that is required by the American National Standards Institute and the National Restaurant Associatoion (USA). Servsafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certifications.

Worldchefs- The World Association of Chefs’ Societies, or Worldchefs in short, is a dynamic global network of more than 100 chefs associations representing chefs at all levels and across all specialties worldwide.

It was founded in1928 at the Sorbonne in Paris with the venerable Auguste Escoffier as first Honorary President. The World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs) is a non-political professional organization, dedicated to maintaining and improving the culinary standards of global cuisines. Worldchefs accomplish these goals through education, training and professional development of our international membership. As an authority and opinion leader on food, Worldchefs represents a global voice on all issues related to the culinary profession.

1. Grand Diploma in International Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry Arts with Restaurant Management

The Grand Diploma in International Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry Arts with Restaurant Management aims to develop students’ International fundamentals standards of culinary and baking and pastry skills and knowledge that is define by the world association of chefs societies (WACS)- Paris France. The program is a double discipline major of culinary arts and baking and pastry arts formal training that gives students distinct competitive advantage with extensive and flexible skills training in various international cuisines, restaurant simulations and kitchen management with the use of modern technique and equipment that can be beneficial use future employment.

2. Professional Diploma in International Culinary Arts with Kitchen Management

The Professional Diploma in International Culinary Arts with Restaurant Management aims to introduce and hone the student’s competencies in the fundamentals science and practical execution of culinary skills. As define by the world association of chefs societies (WACS) – Paris France. The students will be immersed and introduce to real world practical hotel and restaurant culinary preparations and simulations with introductory training in the pastry and the cold kitchen. Also, the program goal is to develop future chef restaurateurs of the Philippines.

3. Professional Diploma in International Pastry and Bakery Arts

The Professional Diploma in International Culinary Arts with Restaurant Management aims to introduce and hone the student’s competencies in the fundamentals science and practical execution of culinary skills. As define by the world association of chefs societies (WACS) – Paris France. The students will be immersed and introduce to real world practical hotel and restaurant culinary preparations and simulations with introductory training in the pastry and the cold kitchen. Also, the program goal is to develop future chef restaurateurs of the Philippines.
