The MOA signing was attended by Palaestra Consortio Associate Director Michaela Almeda. According to Almeda, Brother Industries were the first to reach out to LPU-Laguna for a collaboration plan.

Brother is a Japanese company founded in 1908. According to their website, the company has a total of 16 production facilities and 43 sales companies operating in 44 countries.
