CITHM STUDENTS TAKE US ON A TOUR AROUND THE PHILIPPINES

October 12,2019 – A Philippine Cultural show was organized by CITHM students with the theme “Flaunting Diversity of the Philippine Culture”. Karlo Salisi, president of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management Student Government, when asked about the purpose of the event he said ,“para mapalaganap at mapakilala ang turismo sa Pilipinas.”

The second year ITTM students prepared their own travel agencies and creative booths to promote the different attractions and destinations in the Philippines.
Awards were given to outstanding groups who managed to creatively exhibit travel and tourism projects. HASHTAGANG Travel and Tours from ITTM 2-4 bagged the Best Booth Award and Most Number of Sales. ITTM 2-4 received the Best Section Award.
In overall competition, Globetrotters (ITTM 2-1), Green Gallivanter (ITTM 2-4), and Ateseis Int’l Tours (ITTM 2-1) placed fourth, third and second respectively.
The HASHTAGANG Travel and Tours bagged the overall championship.

The first year ITTM students and CLOHS second year students were tasked to present different places in the country in the best way possible. Many groups danced and some of them used mixed modelling and role playing.
ITTM 1-3 representing ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR came in at 3rdplace. ITTM 1-2 placed second in their beautiful representation of Central Luzon. ITTM 1-4 (Bangsamoro) and CLOHS (Bacolod) 2-1 shared the top spot with a total score of 92%.
