LPU-L COECS Dominates Regional IT Skills Competition 2021
Once again the Lyceum of the Philippines-Laguna’s College of Engineering and Computer Studies rise to the occasion with flying colors!
In the recently concluded annual iSITE-Integrated Southern Tagalog Association of Information Technology Educators Regional IT Skills Competition 2021 held last March 18, 2021 that was participated by different schools in Region IV, students from LPU-L aced the programming competitions. A series contests involving different programming languages were being conducted virtually in digital platforms.
Students from the College of Engineering and Computer Studies of LPU-Laguna emerged as Champions in Java (Ronnel Matthew N. Robles-BSCS) and C programming (John Brent David-BSCS Major in Game Development). Also in the bag are the winnings in Python programming, 2nd place (Ma. Generosa Gruezo- BSCpE), 3rd place in C++ programming (Hans Rafael Abiera) and 4th place in Cosplay (Allyssa Bernabe).
The trainings and mentoring are under the supervision of Prof. Rey-an Baricanosa-Head Coach, Prof. Isaac Morallo, Prof. Fe Prospero and under the guidance of Dr. Neil P. Balba and Dean Favis Joseph Balinado,PECE.
