Kim Dominic Natanauan (WINNERS) won the 2020 LSSC Presidential race. He received a total of 1,026 votes compared to 796 votes received by Shiena Oruga of Laban Party.
After two years of consecutive losses, the WINNERS Party regained control over Student Council.
In a live interview with Natanauan, he stated that, “Wala akong masabi ngayon, ‘di ko alam kung ano pero kabado, nakakapanghina po, hindi ako makapaniwala.”
Oruga, through a message sent to Communicators’ Society said, “Yung totoo, naging malungkot pero konti lang.
ONLINE ELECTIONS
Office of the Student Affairs organized the first online elections for Lyceum Supreme Student Council. Voting commenced last October 5 and ended today at 5:00PM. This year’s election recorded 77% Voter turnover.
Voter Turnout per College:
88% COECS
84% LPU-SC
81% CBA
74% CAS
64% CITHM
START OF NEW LEADERSHIP
Natauanan’s main advocacies are online assistance, LSSC scholarship, and student health care monitoring. “Ang priority natin dito is mainly yung assistance po na maibigay po natin sa kapwa Lyceans.” said Natanauan during the Miting de Avance. He also added that as a student leader, they must be the role model for well-informed and responsible individuals.
Though winning the highest position, Natanauan is the only officer elected under WINNERS Party, the rest are from LABAN Party.
Other winners are Rubuen Mayang for Vice President (LABAN), Armeen Kaur for Secretary (LABAN), Crissabel Villanueva for Treasurer (LABAN), Khim Joshua Magtibay for Auditor and Mary Glorie Anne Habacon for PRO (LABAN). Departmental Representatives are Jhamy Mae De Mesa for CAS (LABAN), Angelo Chavez for CBA (LABAN), Denzel Justin Obel for CITHM (LABAN), Ferly Ann Revilloza for COECS (LABAN) and Patricia Mariz Agbalo for LPU SC (LABAN).

LSSC FINAL VOTES.
Overall results of LSSC Elections 2020
As people adjust to the new normal, Lyceans walk their lives while tuned in on their gadgets, we must mark this occasion as a step of improvement in the online set-up. Student Council should offer opportunities for their fellow students and give them the right, and the privilege to be heard by the authorities.
To continue the legacy of their predecessors and to leave a mark in the history of the LSSC, the responsibilities of the president, and officers are tied with them. Whether they will be able to uphold and surpass these expectations is something only actions could tell.
