A faculty member from Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna (LPU-L) recently presented multiple papers in the second Annual Conference on Idustrial Engineering, Management Science, and Industrial Applications (ICIMSA 2015) held last May 26-28 in Tokyo, Japan.
Engr. Rionel Belen Caldo from the College of Engineering and Computer Studies (COECS) presented three papers during the conference. They were entitled “The Development of a Remote Controlled Mobile Robot for Toy Application using an RF Module in a PIC Microcontroller,” “Ground Grid Integrity testing Using a Matlab Fuzzy Logic Toolbox,” and “An FLC-based Assessment for ASHREA Standard Conformance.” The first paper was co-authored with Donabel Abuan and Elmer P. Dadios of De La Salle University (DLSU) – Manila. The second paper was co-authored with Byran Dimayuga, Kevin Martin E. Jaron, Alexander T. Montero, and Mark Kenneth Z. Peros who are students from the Electrical Engineering (EE) department of the COECS.
After a rigorous peer-review process, 114 full length papers from 22 countries were approved for presentation during the conference.
Engr. Caldo’s papers saw publication in the Springer Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering, Volume 349 (LNEE) series of journals. The book series reports the latest research and developments in Electrical Engineering. The book’s readership includes advanced level students, researchers, and industry professionals.
