A College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management faculty member, Ms. Maureen Perez, was selected to be the Philippine representative to the ASEAN Master Trainer Training Program in Food and Beverage this coming November 4 to December 12, 2014.  Other participants will be coming from different ASEAN member states such as: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

This program is the Phase II of the ASEAN Australia Development Cooperation Program (AADCP). This project is a follow-up to the Toolbox Development for Front Office, F&B Service, and Food Production Divisions project which was completed last February 2014. It will provide trainings to master trainers and master assessors from each ASEAN Member State on the use of the three toolboxes. The trainers will then provide training in their respective countries. The master assessors will take part in the national certification process and provide training as necessary.
