“Bata, Basa, at Kulay” Cultivates Literacy and Creativity at Jose Platon Memorial School

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) 2 project, “”Bata, Basa, at Kulay: Engaging Young Minds by the Magic of Words and Colors,”” has successfully concluded its enriching engagement with Grade 1 students at Jose Platon Memorial School last March 10, 2025.

The initiative centered around a specially published engaging storybook designed to captivate young learners. The project aimed to achieve several key objectives, including: guiding students in recognizing vowel and consonant sounds, improving their overall reading ability, utilizing the storybook’s visual aids to enhance cognitive learning, and introducing reading and arts as stimulating and productive leisure activities.

The ABCOMM/ MMA Group 1 encouraged the young learners to continue exploring the world of stories within the books provided, emphasizing the exciting adventures and knowledge awaiting them.
