An initiative focused on fostering healthy habits, the NSTP 2 project titled “Brush Brush Brush 3x a Day” has successfully engaged Grade 4 students at Makiling Elementary School, emphasizing the critical importance of oral care.
Implemented by BSN 1-3, the project aimed to instill in middle-aged children a strong understanding of proper oral hygiene and raise awareness about the potential issues arising from an unhygienic oral cavity. The project’s outreach to the Grade 4 students of Makiling Elementary School resulted in a significant gain in basic knowledge regarding proper brushing techniques, a heightened understanding of the importance of consistent oral hygiene, and practical knowledge on how to effectively prevent cavities.
“Brush Brush Brush 3x a Day” exemplifies the commitment of NSTP students to address crucial health-related issues within their community, empowering young individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for a healthier future.
