Inspire to do better in taking care of nature!
In the hopes of having better future for our nature and raising awareness about water pollution, LPU-SC Red Cross Youth are one in celebrating the month of International Coastal Clean-Up Day as we joined the coastal clean-up drive at Brgy. Sampiruhan, Puting Krus, Calamba, Laguna on September 18.
This event was headed by the Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter, Red Cross Youth, and Chapter Youth Council in partnership with the City Governemnt of Calamba, Sangguniang Barangay ng Sampurihan, CENRO, and Bayaning Mangingisda ng Sampurihan, RC143. The coastal clean-up drive would not be possible without the cooperation and support of Hon. Cesar Garcia the Barangay Captain of Barangay Sampiruhan, Mayor Rosseler “Ross” Rizal, Mr. Frank Sorromero, MPA, DHum, Chapter Administrator, and Dir. Maritess Salonga, Committee Chairman Disaster Management Service.
