Born from the combined efforts of the institution’s academic and support groups which also drew inspiration from a benchmarking trip with Taylor’s University in Malaysia last 2015 and 2020, the Laurel Program recognizes learners with exemplary leadership skills. The program aims to raise the leadership potential of learners through helping them develop a sense of identity and purpose which empower them to make meaningful contributions to the society, locally and globally. The program consists of 4 modules focusing on (1) Personal Development, (2) People and Leadership, (3) Professional Development, and (4) Global Engagement. Members receive a Second Transcript which functions similarly as a curriculum vitae that can help them jumpstart their career after graduation.
