READY TO LEAD, STUDENT LEADERS TAKE THEIR OATH!

It’s official! Student leaders of LPU-Laguna and LPU-St. Cabrini has sworn into office earlier today. These student leaders won elections last April but only took their oath this August in line with the start of the 1st term for the academic year 2019-2020.
Angelica Acelar, Supervisor of Office of Student Affairs, administered their oath at the LPU-Laguna gymnasium.
All Council Presidents who took their oath were LSSC President Michael Algozo, CAM Student Council President Leila Julienne Demegillo, CAS Student Government President Carl Ivan Linang, CBA Student Council President Alfonzo Lorenzo Rosel, CITHM Student Council President Karlo Jai Salisi and COECS Student Council President Laurynhill Sanchez. They were accompanied by their respective department student officers who also sworn to office. 30 student organization presidents also took oath.
Among the many functions of Student Government are to represent the whole student body, come up with activities that will benefit all students and to make sure that they look after the welfare of their constituents.
According to LSSC President Michael Algozo, his administration will be collaborative in nature.
“Hindi lang naman ako nag-iisa sa posisyon na ito and kasama ko ang aking team para maisaayos ang mga susunod na activities. Iko-consult din naman both the students and the admin para magkaroon ng balance sa mga activities,” LSSC President Michael Algozo said.
Also present in the oath-taking are Administrative Officials, faculty and students of LPU-Laguna and LPU-St. Cabrini. – AA/JPS
