The College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management leads the Lycean students to the challenging and surprising world of Tourism and Hospitality.


CITHM showcases learning about lodging, food and beverage, event management, travel, tourism, leisure management and career opportunities which is represented by four respective programs; International Travel and Tourism Management, Culinary Arts and Kitchen Operations, Hotel and Restaurant Administration and Cruise line Operations Specialized in Culinary Arts and Hotel Services. These programs are designed to direct the students in preparation to their chosen field in this industry. CITHM molds their students to be active and competitive Lyceans through exposing them into different competitions, trainings and seminars both national and international.


The college also takes part into community extension and research development activities for the continuous growth of the department. It aims to indulge its graduates in gratification as they go and pursue their dreams. The College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) of Lyceum of the Philippines University – Laguna aims to provide its students with knowledge, skills and competencies that meet local and international standards in the various tourism and hospitality sectors.

With an end view of defining quality standards that meet international requirements, LPU signed an agreement with the leading hotel-brand in Thailand, the Dusit Thani Public Company Limited to be of assistance in curricula design and instructional material development, support in refreshment training for faculty, laboratory and classroom facilities enhancement, while in terms of maintaining its standards of excellence, CITHM subjects itself to international and national accreditation.



The International Center of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) is an international accreditation agency and a global network of leading quality tourism, hospitality events and culinary arts (TH&E) institutions. For now, LPU is the only university in the Philippines that is part of THE-ICE global Family.



To maintain excellent standards in educational operations in national level, CITHM accreditation is under PACUCOA, the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation which is a private accrediting agency which gives formal recognition to an education institution.

The program exposes the students to the realistic field of hospitality. It offers them the professional foundation that they need in seeking a career in the service industry.

They students must develop managerial knowledge and function such as hospitality education, customer relations, hotel and restaurant operations, food service, commercial food preparation and beverage operations that are necessary in their preparations to the enormous careers in the international hospitality industry.

BSIHM Specialized in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Operations

This program brings out the skills and creativity of its students in the field of culinary arts. They were able to practice it through various competitions and trainings within the region and even in the national and international arena. This industry-based knowledge and ideal learning environment gives an advantage to the CAKO students for the competitive field of hospitality.

BS in Cruise Line Operations in Hotel Services/BS in Cruise Line Operations in Culinary Arts

CITHM opens it door to cruise line industry as it offers two specializations in culinary arts and hotel services. This provides essential knowledge and skills for hospitality incorporating with training requirements that will allow the students to gain professional qualifications. CLOCA students should learn cooking skills to be prepared in presenting their talents to different nationalities. Meanwhile, CLOHS students should acquire managerial skills in hotel services. The Cruise line students are also equipped with extensive local and international industry experience to be globally competitive in hospitality industry.

ITTM nurtures the students with the professional engagement in the Tourism industry. It emphasizes skills and knowledge that provides the ability to meet international work enforcement.
