LPU-L Pirates Bagged Awards at the NCRAA’s 26TH Season
In their first stint at the NCRAA 26th Season, the LPU-LAGUNA Pirates has proven their worth to be part of a bigger league by dominating their much-experienced opponents and bagged awards.
The Lady Pirates has proven that teamwork pays off as they win the Championship for the Women’s Volleyball Category headed by Coach Jasper Paulo Rodriguez with their Sports Development Coordinator, Coach Hazel Mea. The Men’s Volleyball Team headed by Coach Sherwin Garais, also proved their skills on the court as they placed 1st-Runner Up.
Our Basketball Men Pirates has also shown their skills on the court by placing 2nd Runner Up for the Basketball Men’s Category headed by Coach Eduardio Montiero with Coach Mike Sydiangco. Our very own player, Jan Derick Villarez, is awarded as one of the league’s Mythical Five.
The LPU-Laguna Athletics Department has truly given their best to our student-athletes by instilling in them the values of hard work and discipline during their training, which helps them win battles as they go along.
